Push
The straddle planche push-up is a full push-up performed in a straddle planche (legs in a horizontal V, body parallel to the floor). A gymnastics-level move combining the straddle planche hold with dynamic pressing strength.
From a straddle planche hold (which you must already own), lower with control bending the elbows (elbows back, as in PPPUs). At the bottom the chest is near the hands. Drive with max force back to the horizontal straddle planche.
One of the hardest pushing skills in calisthenics. Own a 30+ second straddle planche hold before attempting dynamic reps.
Anterior deltoid, serratus anterior, triceps, chest, and the entire anterior core chain work maximally throughout.
