Push
Pseudo planche push-ups (PPPU) are a push-up variant with hands rotated outward and maximal forward lean, simulating planche load while the feet stay on the floor. One of the most effective and popular planche-building drills.
From a plank, rotate hands outward (fingers at 3 and 9, or farther back). Lean maximally forward—shoulders well ahead of the wrists. Body nearly horizontal. With elbows pointing BACKWARD (not out), lower the chest toward the floor. Press to full extension.
Directly controls difficulty. More lean = more shoulder work = closer to a true planche.
3×10 with maximal lean and perfect technique is an advanced milestone that prepares well for tuck planche.
